Pixel RF fractional skin resurfacing treatment was developed by Alma Lasers in Israel; a world leader in Light, Laser and Radio Frequency based medical devices.
We have treated hundreds of patients with successful outcomes. The latest protocols in Pixel fractional skin resurfacing treatment enhances its unique approach – Pixel by Pixel, Spot by Spot…
It is truly colour blind, meaning that it can treat all skin types without the danger of hyperpigmentation.
How does Pixel RF fractional skin resurfacing work?
To help you appreciate the benefits of Pixel RF fractional skin resurfacing treatment – think of a computer image in need of retouching or colour balance. Just as a damaged image can be restored one area at a time, pixel by pixel, the RF Pixel improves your appearance by affecting only a fraction of your skin at a time with thousands of microscopic RF Pixel spots. It’s like Photoshop editing software for your face!
As experts in skin ageing, we are qualified to employ a variety of both corrective and preventive techniques to keep your skin healthy and younger-looking.

How long does Pixel RF resurfacing treatment take?
Pixel RF resurfacing can be performed, in most cases with a topical anaesthetic cream. The treatment takes about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area(s) being treated.
Because the treatment does not “ablate” or remove the outer skin layer, you can resume routine activities right after treatment.
Swelling is usually minimal and generally resolves on the same day.
The skin will have a pinkish tone for 2 to 3 days.
For optimal improvement, a course of 2 to 4 treatments, 4 weeks apart has been shown to be most effective.
The time between treatments varies from patient to patient due to healing and the depth of the treatment.
Results are both immediate and progressive, with noticeable, beneficial effects accumulating over 1 to 3 months.
We recommend a planned course of treatments for the best results.
After your course of treatments, we recommend an Aesthetica maintenance treatment review every 6 months.
 Other benefits with combined treatments.
Pixel RF is a perfect partner for other unique Aesthetica Radio Frequency RF treatments to provide additional skin tightening, re-contouring and rejuvenation of your skin.
This combined technology embraces multiple RF therapy that cannot be achieved with other light-based treatments creating new healthy tissue by stimulating the body to naturally repair ageing and photodamaged skin without significant risks or recovery time.
