Selecting your Practitioner
When choosing a medical cosmetic doctor or plastic surgeon, it’s vital to consider their education, training, experience, and proven competence in the specific procedure you’re considering.
Don’t hesitate to ask tough questions to ensure you make an informed decision about us.
Getting to know you
At Aesthetica, we take the time to get to know you so we can provide honest advice and offer options tailored to your concerns. We conduct thorough medical history assessments and, if necessary, arrange further tests to ensure your well-being and suitability for the procedure and recovery. Recognising the uniqueness of your body and skin, we work closely with you to understand and appreciate your concerns, ensuring that your treatment plan is specifically designed for you.
Upholding the highest standards
Cosmetic surgery has become increasingly popular in Australia, with per capita rates now surpassing those in the USA. To maintain the highest standards in medicine and ensure your safety, we have introduced a new requirement: a GP referral for a cosmetic surgery consultation. This ensures that you receive proper medical guidance and evaluation before considering any procedures.
Empowering your decision making
We understand that researching and gathering information is a crucial part of your decision-making process. We encourage you to utilise resources like the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery, and the Medical Board website. These sources provide valuable insights into the latest guidelines and best practices in cosmetic surgery.
Making informed Decisions
Choosing the Right Surgeon
When selecting a surgeon for your cosmetic or medical procedure, it is vital to choose someone experienced in performing the procedures and offering a range of options to safely address your specific concerns. Your well-being is our utmost priority, and we want you to feel confident in your decision.
Navigating the Complexities
To assist you further, we have created a comprehensive post on cosmetic research. This post aims to help you navigate the complexities of cosmetic surgery by answering challenging questions you may encounter during consultations. We believe that knowledge empowers you to make informed decisions about your cosmetic journey.
