Aesthetica – Laser Hair Removal
Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment with GentleLase
Aesthetica uses the best Candala GentleLase.
It use safe low-energy settings to gently reduce unwanted hair.
They kill the unwanted growing hair by targeting the melanin (colour) in the hair follicle; disabling the hair from further growth. For this reason it works best on black hair on white skin. Although other hair and skin colours can be treated but the settings may have to be adjusted
Because these systems scan the skin rather than treating one hair at a time, it is possible to treat larger areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, and legs.
Most of all, Aesthetica’s advanced treatments for laser hair removal are safe, fast, gentle and effective technology for hair removal.
Al areas of the body can be treated with the laser.
Your treatment is normally done with you lying down wearing goggles to protect your eyes as a precaution.
First of all, we cleanse the area to be treated.
Then the area is scanned with the laser handpiece. The light energy passes through the skin and is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy vaporizes the carbon particles in the follicle, debilitating hair growth.
Treatments can last from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the size of the area being treated.
What should I do after my treatment?
Sunscreen is recommended for at least 48 hours on any treated areas exposed to the sun.
