We were instrumental in the development and testing of Accent RF non-surgical facelift in Victoria for skin tightening.

When we look at our face in the mirror, we are often confronted with a tired face looking back at us, it’s not the way we feel inside, yet time and our natural ageing process conspire to give us these tired eyes and a droopy look, especially once we have reached our late 30’s and early 40’s.
Accent RF
Aesthetica’s RF Facial rejuvenation and FaceLifter treatment use unipolar and bipolar radiofrequency modalities to heat your subcutaneous dermal tissue using various handpieces emitting RF waves.
The Accent Radio Frequency technology works under the skin for rebuilding and tightening your existing collagen cells.
In short, the Accent RF skin tightening treatments will work under the skin to slow down, and in cases reverse the natural ageing process.
After a course of treatments, you will feel your skin smoother and plumper. In the mirror, you will see a tightness causing a lifting, especially around the jawline.
There is no downtime (apart from the treatment time itself) and minimal discomfort.
They are all walk-in walk-out treatments and takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Many people refer to these treatments as a non-surgical facelift.
How will Accent RF treatments improve my skin?

Is facial skin tightening right for me?

Some clients have obvious ageing from the mid-30s While others do better with deeper lines and laxity not evident till their 50’s.
There is an advantage to starting a little younger (the forties) and planning an annual budget for maintenance.

What happens during RF treatment?
Before your treatment commences, the treatment area is lightly coated in oil to make the treatment more comfortable and to increase the hand piece’s surface contact with your skin.
There is little discomfort during or after RF Face skin tightening treatment.
There is a warm feeling in the skin in the area being treated.
The handpiece used in treatment has its own cooling module to help keep the treatment comfortable. The operator can cool the skin immediately if required.
How many RF treatments are required?
We recommend a course of anywhere between 6 to 9 fortnightly treatments (depending on the areas treated and your skin’s reaction to the treatment) for the most beneficial results.
We also recommend maintenance treatments approximately every 4-6 months after your initial treatment.
How long before I see the results?
Many clients have reported skin tightening changes early in their course after 2 to 3 radiofrequency treatments but it is usual to have 4-6 fortnightly treatments before the results start to manifest.
