Non-Surgical Eye Lift — Eyelid & Brow Rejuvenation
Sometimes known as a non-surgical blepharoplasty. Viora V-ST, Ultherapy and Pixel RF microneedling for skin laxity, brow heaviness and fine lines around the eyes — without incisions or anaesthesia.
Non-Surgical Eye Rejuvenation
May not be suitable if you have significant excess upper eyelid skin, under-eye fat pads requiring removal, or changes affecting vision — surgery may be more appropriate in these cases.
This page covers the non-surgical treatment options available at Aesthetica Image Centre for concerns around the upper and lower eyelids, including skin laxity, heaviness, fine lines, and brow position. This approach is sometimes referred to as a non-surgical blepharoplasty.
These treatments are an alternative to — or complement for — blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), depending on the nature and extent of the changes involved.
Non-surgical eye rejuvenation is most effective at the earlier end of the ageing spectrum.
Your clinician will advise honestly on which approach, if any, is most appropriate for your individual concerns. For surgical blepharoplasty, see our main eyelid surgery page.
What Non-Surgical Eye Lift Treatments Can Address
Non-surgical eye lift and rejuvenation is most effective where changes are present but the skin has not yet developed the degree of excess or laxity that requires surgical removal.
- Mild to moderate upper eyelid skin laxity or crepiness
- Softening of the brow, contributing to a heavier appearance over the eyes
- Fine lines and skin texture concerns around the upper and lower lids
- Early lower eyelid skin changes, where fat pads have not yet significantly descended
- Maintenance of results following blepharoplasty surgery
Important: non-surgical treatments cannot remove excess skin, address significant fat pad descent, or lift the brow to the extent surgery can. Where these changes are present, blepharoplasty or a combined surgical approach may be more appropriate.
Treatments Available at Aesthetica
Three treatment modalities are available, each suited to different concerns and stages of change. They can be used individually or as part of a combined treatment plan.
Viora V-ST — RF Skin Tightening
Advanced radiofrequency energy heats the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and gradual firmness around the eyelid and brow. Sessions typically 30–60 minutes, with a course of 3–6 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Learn more →
Ultherapy — Focused Ultrasound
Targets the same structural layer addressed in a brow lift, producing a gradual lifting effect on the brow and upper eyelid. A single TGA-approved session of 60–90 minutes, with results developing over 2–6 months. Learn more →
Pixel RF Microneedling
Combines fractional microneedling with RF energy to improve texture, crepiness and fine lines in the delicate skin around the eyes. A course of 2–4 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart. Learn more →
Who Is Most Suited to Non-Surgical Eye Lift Treatments?
- Have earlier-stage laxity or brow changes that don't yet require surgical correction
- Prefer a non-surgical approach and have realistic expectations about what it can achieve
- Have previously had blepharoplasty and wish to maintain results over time
- Are exploring options before deciding whether to proceed with surgery
- Want to address skin quality and texture concerns around the eyes alongside other treatments
A consultation is the appropriate starting point — your clinician will assess your individual anatomy and advise whether a surgical opinion from Dr Tony Prochazka is worth exploring alongside.
Can Non-Surgical Eye Treatments Be Combined With Surgery?
Yes — and in some cases this is a particularly effective approach:
- With facelift surgery: patients having a facelift sometimes combine this with non-surgical eye rejuvenation, addressing the upper face without a second surgical procedure
- After blepharoplasty: non-surgical treatments can support ongoing skin quality and help maintain results as the ageing process continues
- Before considering surgery: a course of non-surgical treatment may be a useful first step, providing some improvement while the decision about surgery is considered over time
Where Eye Treatments Fit in Your Facial Rejuvenation Journey
Non-surgical eye rejuvenation is one part of a broader facial rejuvenation pathway. Depending on your goals, it may be used on its own, alongside other non-surgical treatments, or as a complement to surgical procedures elsewhere on the face.
Indicative starting prices only — a personalised quote is provided following consultation.
Patients addressing earlier signs of jowling or jawline softening alongside their eye concerns may also wish to discuss a mini facelift (MACS) — a smaller-incision surgical option with a shorter recovery than a full facelift. Where changes are more advanced, full facelift surgery may be more appropriate.
Your clinician will help you understand where your concerns sit and which combination of treatments may suit your goals.
When Surgery Is the Better Option
Non-surgical treatments work best when changes are mild to moderate. If any of the following apply, blepharoplasty surgery is likely to be more appropriate:
- Significant excess skin overhanging the upper eyelid crease
- Visible fat pads or puffiness beneath the lower eyes that have descended significantly
- Changes that are affecting vision or peripheral sight
- Previous non-surgical treatments that haven't produced adequate improvement

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a range of treatments — sometimes called a non-surgical blepharoplasty — including RF skin tightening, focused ultrasound and RF microneedling — that address skin laxity, brow position and skin quality around the eyelids without incisions or anaesthesia. Unlike surgical blepharoplasty, these treatments work by stimulating collagen production and gradual skin tightening rather than physically removing tissue.
Viora V-ST radiofrequency skin tightening, Ultherapy (TGA-approved focused ultrasound with a brow-lifting effect), and Pixel RF microneedling for skin texture and fine lines. Each addresses slightly different concerns, and a combination approach may be recommended depending on your individual assessment.
Patients with earlier-stage changes — mild to moderate skin laxity, brow softening, fine lines or crepiness — that don't yet require surgical correction. Also well suited to those who prefer a non-surgical approach, and those maintaining results after previous blepharoplasty.
Yes. Non-surgical eye rejuvenation can complement facelift or mini facelift surgery for patients wanting comprehensive facial rejuvenation without a second surgical procedure, and can be used following blepharoplasty to help maintain results over time.
When there's significant excess skin overhanging the upper eyelid crease, considerably descended fat pads beneath the lower eyes, or changes affecting vision or peripheral sight. Non-surgical treatments work best at the earlier end of the spectrum.
Viora V-ST results may last up to a year with maintenance treatments; Ultherapy results develop over 2–6 months and may last 1–2 years; Pixel RF microneedling results develop over 1–3 months. As the ageing process continues, periodic maintenance is generally recommended.
